When you are active on our website or contact us, you sometimes share personal data. We handle this data with care and comply with the applicable laws and regulations. These laws are about the storage and use of your personal data.

In this privacy statement we explain what information we collect and what we do with this information. This privacy statement applies to all interactions between you and T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health, the way of communication does not matter.

TANGO. 4 Health, located at Koelandsweg 19 in Donkerbroek, is responsible for the processing of the personal data as stated in this privacy statement. You can send questions or comments regarding your privacy to caroline@tango4health.com.

What is personal data?
All data that tells something about you and can be used to identify you is personal data. For example, think of your name, your contact or address details and your BSN. Some of this data, such as ethnic origin, religion or a criminal history, are special personal data.

We do not collect special personal data.

Personal data of persons under the age of 16
We do not intend to process personal data of persons under the age of 16. However, we cannot check whether a visitor to our websites and servers is older than 16 years. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information from a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian, you can contact caroline@tango4health.com and we will delete this information. If data is collected by us from persons under the age of 16, this will always be done with the consent of his/her parent or guardian.

When do we process your personal data?
1. To help you if you have any questions.
We are happy to help if you run into something or have a question for us. You can call us, email us or fill out a form on the website. We may also receive your data from third parties in connection with our services. In order to help you further, we store some of your data. That way we know who you are and we can also find what we talked about at the next contact moment.

If you have questions for us, we store the following data from you:

2. To prepare quotes and send them to you.

Before we get started for you, we will send you a quote. For this we store the following data from you:

3. To execute an agreement, to take notes, to create a certificate of participation, to add you to the online academy and to make appointments with you.

If you purchase services from us, you naturally want to be well helped and receive what you have asked for. We store the following data for the execution of an agreement:

  • Date of birth
  • Other (personal) data supplied by you

4. To be able to invoice you.

The services purchased by you must of course also be paid for. If you do not do this, we will start a collection process. In connection with invoicing & collection, we store the following data from you:

5. To send you our teaching materials, newsletters and course progress.

If you have ordered products from us, or if you have registered for the online academy and/or the newsletter, we store the following data:

When we make changes to our services, general terms and conditions, privacy statement or other important matters, we would like to inform you. If you agree to this, we will use the following data to process you in our administration system:

Cookies statement

Cookies and similar techniques that we use

T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or telephone when you first visit a website. We use cookies with a purely technical functionality so that the website works as intended.

In addition, we use analytical cookies such as Google Analytics to study the behavior of our visitors and to improve the website based on this. Last but not least, we sometimes also use tracking cookies (Facebook pixel) so that we can offer you customized content and advertisements. These are, for example, advertisers and social media companies.

If we need your permission to place cookies, we will ask you during your first visit to this website. We also refer you to our cookie statement.

You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies.

Transfer to partners

We work together with various suppliers and partners to provide our services.
These suppliers & partners include parties that:

  • Sending our newsletters (ActiveCampaign)
  • Sending our mail (PostNL)
  • Handling our payments & collections (Woocommerce, Mollie)
  • Take care of our web hosting
  • Our technical VA

We have concluded processing agreements and/or confidentiality statements with sub-processors to guarantee the security of your data. We only work with partners who can comply with the GDPR legislation.

Some of our partners are located outside the European Economic Area (the countries within the European Union, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland). Your data can be processed in America and/or other countries where these companies have their cloud storage and servers and/or backups.

We have taken appropriate measures with these partners, which have been contractually agreed via a processing agreement / Data Processing Addendum or via a model agreement from the European Commission (click here). The stricter GDPR (the GDPR) is often already signed and in effect by most of them. In this way we ensure that your data is well protected.

Transfer to third parties
In principle, we do not share or sell your data with persons or organizations outside T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health, except with partners as described above. We may also be obliged to pass on your data on the basis of a legal obligation.

The security of your data
T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health has taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against misuse, unlawful or unauthorized use and loss.

All parties that process your data for us (sub-processors) or can view it (e.g. employees or hired workers) sign a processing agreement or confidentiality statement.

How long will your data be kept
We use different retention periods for different data flows. Of course you always have the right to request that we delete your data. See also the heading “Your rights”.

Personal data
We delete name, address details, telephone number and e-mail 10 years after our last contact.

Email
Email older than 10 years will be deleted unless they are still relevant for the execution of an agreement or resolution of a dispute.

Invoices and quotes
Invoices and quotations are deleted after the legal retention period of 7 years. Your data will remain in our billing system until then.

Newsletter
You can remove your data from our newsletter system at any time.

Your rights
You have the right to view, correct and delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health.
You also have the right to data portability. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to caroline@tango4health.com.

To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. Make sure you make the following subjects on this copy black: passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. If your request relates to a cookie, we ask you to also send it. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but at the latest within four weeks. T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health would also like to point out that you have the option of submitting a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Reporting a data breach
If, despite all precautions, a data breach does occur, we will comply with the data breach notification obligation and, if necessary, report this breach to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours of discovery. If you discover a data leak, we kindly ask you to share this with us as soon as possible, but in any case within 24 hours after you have discovered the leak, by sending an email to caroline@tango4health.com. We can then take immediate action.

Liability
This privacy statement only relates to the personal data that T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health processes for the purposes of the points discussed in this agreement. T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health does not accept any responsibility or liability for (the operation and/or content of) websites or services of third parties.

Changes to this statement
The content of this privacy statement can be changed at any time by T.A.N.G.O. 4 Health to respond to new developments in legislation or regulations or changes within our company.

You can subscribe to our newsletter where we will keep you informed of any changes. In any case, we recommend that you regularly consult this privacy statement to stay informed of our privacy policy. By continuing to use the services of T.A.N.G.O. after changes. 4 Health you agree to these changes.
